Vi har nå relansert NFE etter
noen år med lite aktivitet. NFE har fått en bevilgning fra Jean Monnet
programmet som gjør oss i stand til å arrangere minst 3 konferanser i løpet av
i år og neste år, iallfall.

skikkelig nettside for NFE.
NYHETSBREV:
Vi vil sende ut nyhetsbrev minst
et par ganger om året og i den forbindelse vil gjerne ha innspill fra dere om
relevante arrangementer og publikasjoner.
ARRANGEMENTER:
Det første arrangementet gikk av
stabelen i slutten av mai i år i Oslo (se vedlagt program under). Arrangementet
var tredelt. Første dag var en åpen plenumskonferanse om EU og Arktis. Andre
dagen var det paper presentasjoner og deretter generalforsamling og valg av
styre for de kommende tre år.
Planen videre er å avholde en ny
konferanse i slutten av januar. Formatet vil være tilsvarende mai-konferansen.
Første dag vil være en åpen konferanse hvor temaet vil bli Norges forhold til
EU, med fokus på Europautredningen og UDs utredning som vil foreligge i løpet
av høsten. Vi ønsker også å ha representanter fra EU-systemet tilstede. EU
utreder også dette. Andre dag vil det
være anledning til å presentere papers. Vi vil sende ut mer informasjon om
dette i slutten av september.
